"I always look forward to Tuesday mornings. I have been attending for nearly 3 years and have met some lovely people. Ulrika is fabulous, explains everything so well and makes it a very enjoyable experience. I can really feel a difference in myself, fitness and wellbeing wise. I have noticed such an improvement with my posture and hardly ever have backache any more."

How comfortable are you taking part in the classes? Very comfortable. There is no pressure to keep up with anybody else, just work at your own pace. Everyone is very welcoming.
How do you rate the content, variety of moves and use of equipment? We are always learning something new & use a variety of equipment, I.e. Bands, balls

"Pilates? Yes.  For men? Yes!  Are you sure? Absolutely!!  But I've got a heart condition - All the more reason, then!!

I guess, like most men, I had no real idea of what Pilates was ... but was still reluctant to try it! 
What was Pilates going to do for me? It wasn't that long since I used to play 5-a-side football & go running regularly (actually it was 20 years ago) but hey, I could still run up a flight of stairs, so I must still be fit, right? And I wasn't going to get any benefit from going to a "keep fit" Pilates class, was I? Wrong! And Wrong again!
A heart condition at 53, a stent fitted (& a threat of a by-pass avoided) & your perspective changes! You start listening when the specialist nurses who are helping you with your Cardiac Rehabilitation say Pilates would be good for you. And you give it a go - still with a degree of scepticism, because you're a man, after all!
And what do you find? Pilates - Ulrika's Fitness Pilates - is brilliant! It is hugely enjoyable & does everything everyone said it would - it complements my weekly Cardiac Rehab gym classes perfectly & my fitness, flexibility, posture and balance have all improved immeasurably as a result. And, unlike my football & running, Pilates keeps my whole body fit, with exercises for my head, my toes, and everything in between!
I probably should have listened earlier and started doing Pilates sooner, but hey, I'm a man aren't I!"

How comfortable are you taking part in the classes? Very comfortable. Ulrika tailors the class to individual requirements and it always has a friendly atmosphere. We have fun whilst getting fitter and more flexible.
How do you rate the content, variety of moves and use of equipment? Classes are interesting and varied. Ulrika is a very motivating teacher and takes feedback from us to create classes to meet our varied needs and wants

"Ulrika’s Pilates classes are fun and relaxed but very effective. She takes the time to make sure everyone is happy with the class and individual exercises, and she does an excellent five minute relaxation at the end of every session (my favourite bit!). I’ve really noticed a difference in my flexibility since I started and I’m sure it benefits my sometimes troublesome back. Would recommend to anyone."

How comfortable are you taking part in the classes? Totally comfortable, Ulrika puts us immediately at ease with her warmth and enthusiasm.
How do you rate the content, variety of moves and use of equipment? The classes are very varied and change regularly so no danger of getting stale! Also Ulrika always gives options for every ability so no one is excluded from joining in.

"Ulrika is friendly and makes you feel comfortable, there are people at different levels in the classes. No one competes you work at your own level and pace. You feel like you’ve had a good work out when you’ve finished the class. Tuesday class and a Friday class Pilates different routine. Monday yoga/Pilates combined I loved this level I could really feel a difference the following day I felt stronger if that makes sense. I’m getting fitter without killing myself. I would highly recommend Ulrika as an instructor. Trust me I’ve been to some horrendous classes. These are the best for me."
